Peter brings over 35 years of experience in biodiversity conservation and natural resource management, with more than two decades dedicated to Mozambique.
A recognized leader in marine conservation, he helped establish the Western Indian Ocean's largest marine protected area and founded Mozambique's national conservation trust fund, Biofund.
He has advised the Government of Mozambique, USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the World Bank on marine policy, protected area design, and blue economy development. At MMS, Peter provides strategic guidance on marine governance, stakeholder coordination, and nature-based solutions.
